Frequently Asked Questions:
1. How long is my certification good for?
The American Heart Association (AHA) recommends that you be recertified in most of their courses every 2 years. If the specific course you are taking is different, your instructor will inform you during the course.
2. Are your courses nationally recognized?
Yes! We teach all of our courses to AHA ECC Guidelines, OSHA and/or ASHI standards. Our courses will be recognized where ever you go in the United States.
3. How long are your classes?
Each course has a specific amount of classroom and hands on training that is required by the certifying authority (AHA, ASHI, etc.) Please contact us for specific class length either by phone (931-980-1294) or email: information@lifeaidtraining.org
4. When can I expect my card?
With the exception of ACLS and us traveling to your site, students will receive their cards that day. For our ACLS students, you will receive a letter stating that you have passed and can start actively using your skills. Unless otherwise noted, the card(s) will be mailed to you within 30 (thirty) days.
5. I’ve lost my CPR card, what can I do?
As soon as we can verify your training records with us, we can replace your card for you. The cost for a replacement is $10.00. We suggest that you ‘scan’ your card into your computer for easy verification.
